What is included in token listing and profile verification?
Listing is an application to add a token to a platform's database: a tracker, explorer, wallet, or exchange. Verification is bringing an existing profile up to date: updated supply data, logo, links, and contract status. These are different tasks but usually go together: first, getting into the database, then maintaining the profile in working order.
Listing includes: preparing the application according to the specific platform's format, gathering necessary data (contract, socials, whitepaper, audit if required), submitting, and following through until publication. Verification includes updating circulating supply data, migrating the contract during a rebrand, updating the profile on DEXTools and DEXScreener, correcting data in the explorer, adding the token to a wallet's list, and restoring a profile with a warning status.
We prepare the materials and handle correspondence with the platform's moderation team, but the final decision — whether to publish the application, remove a status, or change data — always rests with the platform itself.
On which platforms do we provide listing services?
- CoinMarketCap — basic listing with description, socials, and supply data.
- CoinGecko — a separate application with its own data and screenshot requirements.
- CryptoRank — project card, rounds, and tokenomics.
- Other trackers — CoinPaprika, CoinCodex, and similar aggregators.
- DefiLlama and DappRadar — for DeFi and DApp projects with TVL or active users.
- Centralized exchanges — listing application with trading pairs.
- DEX listing and liquidity setup — pool creation and initial liquidity.
- Launchpads — placement before or during launch.
- ICO and airdrop calendars — a card in upcoming launch calendars.
The set of platforms for a specific project is selected after a brief — not every token needs the entire list at once.
How much does a crypto listing cost and what determines the price?
The price depends on the platform's material requirements and how many revision iterations are typically needed for application approval.
| Platform / Service | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Centralized exchange | Application and follow-through until listing | from $4,700 / project |
| CoinMarketCap | Full package: application, data, follow-through | from $1,250 / project |
| CoinGecko | Application and follow-through | from $1,100 / project |
| Launchpad | Placement and materials for the platform | from $700 / project |
| DEX listing with liquidity | Pool creation and setup | from $800 / project |
| DefiLlama / DappRadar | Application and metric integration | from $550 / project |
| CryptoRank | Project card | from $400 / project |
| Other trackers (package) | Multiple platforms at once | from $250 / project |
| ICO / airdrop calendars | Card placement | from $150 / project |
| Profile restoration | Working with a warning status | from $1,050 / project |
| Audit and KYC badges | Process follow-through | from $1,150 / project |
Separate from the agency fee, some platforms charge an official application review fee — this is not our markup, and we always list it as a separate line item in the estimate.
What to do if a token profile is outdated or marked with a warning?
An outdated profile is common: a team changes the contract address, rebrands, but the data on the tracker remains old. A separate situation is a warning status on a listing profile: the platform marks it if it sees signs of risk — anomalous holder activity, a non-standard contract, user complaints.
What we do: confirm the current circulating supply with documents and on-chain data, handle migration to a new contract with updates to related pages, update the profile on DEXTools and DEXScreener, update data and logo in the explorer, submit an application for status removal and profile restoration, and follow through on smart contract audit and KYC badge acquisition if the platform requires them for status removal.
Honestly: we cannot guarantee status removal — the platform itself makes the decision after reviewing the materials, and if the risk is objectively confirmed, the status may remain. We are responsible for the quality and completeness of the application, not for the moderation decision.
How does the process work from application to publication?
We start with an audit of the current profile, if one exists, and a list of platforms for the task. Then we gather materials: the contract and its verification in the explorer, supply data, links to socials and the website, and, if necessary, a smart contract audit. We prepare the application according to the specific platform's format and submit it.
Review times vary by platform: some approve an application in a few days, others take several weeks, especially if the platform requests clarifications or additional documents. We respond to such requests promptly but do not manage the platform's moderation queue.
After publication, we verify that all data is displayed correctly, and at this stage, you can also arrange for trending placement — from $2,000 / 24 h — to boost the visibility of a fresh listing.
What else should be combined with a listing?
A listing rarely makes sense on its own without the surrounding token context: a fresh card on a tracker without any activity around it quickly gets lost among thousands of other profiles. After publication on trackers, it's logical to add PR in industry media so that the listing is known beyond the platform itself, and a KOL campaign to drive the first wave of interest to the fresh card and its discussion on socials.
If the listing occurs before a token launch, the entire process is usually integrated into a token launch and growth plan: from tokenomics to the first days of trading and exchange listing support. For projects that, in addition to crypto platforms, need visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, there is a separate GEO/AEO direction — the mechanics there are different from a crypto tracker listing.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a CoinMarketCap listing cost?
The full package — application, preparation of supply and social data, follow-through until publication — starts from $1,250 / project. The final price depends on the state of the materials: if the audit and supply data are already ready, less time is needed to prepare the application.
How is a listing different from profile verification?
Listing is the first entry of a token into a platform's database: without a profile on the platform, there is nothing to verify. Verification is working with an existing profile: updating supply data, changing the contract during migration, correcting the logo, or removing a warning status. A project that is already listed usually needs verification, not a repeat listing.
Can a warning status be removed from a token profile?
You can submit a request for review with supporting materials — current supply data, a contract audit, and an explanation of the situation that led to the status. The platform itself makes the decision after review: if the risk it identified is objectively confirmed, the status may remain. We prepare a complete and accurate application, but the result depends on the platform's moderation, not just on us.
How long does an exchange listing take?
Centralized exchanges typically review applications from a few weeks to a couple of months — depending on the platform's workload, the completeness of the submitted materials, and whether the exchange requires an additional audit or legal opinion. The price for such a listing starts from $4,700 / project, and timelines are clarified once the specific exchange is identified.
What needs to be prepared before submitting a listing application?
Basic set: a working contract verified in the explorer, current circulating and maximum supply data, a logo, a project description, and links to the website and socials. For some platforms — a smart contract audit and team data. We collect and format these materials according to the specific platform's requirements during the application preparation stage.
Is a DefiLlama listing necessary if the project is not a DeFi protocol?
Not necessarily — DefiLlama and DappRadar are primarily useful for projects with TVL, staking, or active application users: they evaluate these metrics. For a token without DeFi mechanics, a listing on trackers like CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko usually provides more practical value than a card on DefiLlama.
How quickly can a profile be updated after a contract migration?
Updating a profile on trackers and in the explorer after migrating to a new contract usually takes from a few days: you need to confirm ownership of the new contract, update the supply data, and ask the platform to transfer the profile history to the new address. Until the update is complete on all platforms, we recommend keeping the old profile with a migration note so holders don't get confused.
